I'll be running the swedish designed MaxxEcu, mainly because its swedish made and has some cool features like full E85 support with real time detection of fuel mixture and two temperature input ports that can be used for sensors under the sparkplugs. Its also got bluetooth that can send data realtime to an android tablet and show whatever data you want in the cabin. For starters I'll just be running it on petrol tho untill I can increase the volume and bump the CR to take full advantage of the E85.

Thanks Pile and Nate. :)

This easter weekend will hopefully see me getting all the engine tins and some other parts powdercoated, then once I get a trigger wheel setup and a thermostat I can start assembling the longblock to a complete engine and get it and the gearbox back into the car.

Last week saw the Engine jump into Place with the usual 914 Engine tin interference issues....

Struggling a bit with getting the TBs to close properly after a few pushes to the pedal. Have tried a harder pulling return spring but the issue seems to be in the pedal or old throttle wire....new wire ordered.

Houston, we have cranking rpm... :D

Got some work done today. Pulled the intakes off, removed the plugs and checked the plug gaps. All good. Proceeded to mount the oil filter, fill the engine with oil.
Then I built a remote start switch and hooked it up. *drumroll* It cranks! :)
