That's an AMAZING car for sure!! But,. . . a pretty hard sell in this economy!

I've seen some really nice 914-6 conversions w/ 3.6L going for $25k obo so. . . Makes it pretty hard to justify spending 2.5X that amount for this one. . .

There isn't much left to modify, is there?
Awesome ride.

Starting life as a /6 is worth more than a conversion, but probably not ~$30K worth.

This guy isn't selling to po' folk like us, $65K gets you a fairly boring car most of the time these days.
(OTOH it would just about get you his and hers Atoms)
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

The bad thing about this, he didn't upgrade to a 915, it's a lot of motor for a 901, and for the money he put into the 901 he could of went the 915.

But it is a nice car, but would of been better any color except red.

Agreed, the minute you drop the clutch on that 901 that thing will grenade.

The add is back up with a $3000 price drop.
And has some better pics, with a little more info.

It says it has a 901 box with a 904 main shaft with a Quaife but then it says
in the next line it has a 916 box ?

The aftermarket Tach, why devalue it, a nice 911 tach would of been perfect.
