howdy where is the oil pressure control valve piston at ( it's the little piston) l was installing weltmeister oil pressure booster kit on 1.8 lt motor
the book states the reguleting valve is found on the right hand side of the block just under oil breather. it's missing the hayes book is no bentley

It's the big 1 1/2" screw in plug underneath where the oil filter adaptor bolts to the block. An impact driver and special driver that fits the plug, work best for removal & installation.
Also some cases have a 2nd oil pressure relief piston, and it is located under no.1 cyl behind the big 12 point plug, that a 3/8" extension can be used for removal & installation. And there is a special plug that is used to replace the spring, that the Weltmiester kit doesn't even have. The reason the spring is replaced, the spring allows oil pressure to bleed back to the case from the lifter galleries, and will now bleed more off after you have added the Weltmeister kit .
I am assuming this is a solid lifter 914 motor.
