Pomona swap - where are the 914's???

Post by Class 11 streeter »

Dear 914 Forum

Here is a pic of the LONE 914 that attended the Pomona Swap meet on the 13th of January:

The owner is a nice enough guy but he had never heard of ShopTalk, 914club, or anything.
I guess he didn't get the memo it isn't "cool" to come to the swap or something, because none
of you "914 faithful" were there. I know, because I counted ALL the 914's = 1.

By way of comparison, these wiseguys can find their way to the swap:

Hey, at least their engine is in the right place!

Soooooooooo, friends, if you feel (like I do) that too few 914s gives the 911s all the glory, bring
your 914 out to the Pomona swap on the 9th of March and show off. You don't have to sell your
car unless someone offers a dumptruck full of money or something, just trying to get you 914
guys/gals to show some........attendance..........

Where are the 914's???
Hey Monte

Mine is going up on jack stands, and others are already on them...

But I can't speak for the ones that are not.

Who has a running 914?

i think the question should be "How many people here have 914's that are not on Jack stands . Or how many people have 914's that have motors in them.

As far as i know almost all 914's are being restored at this point so hopefully in a couple years we will be flooded with newly restored 914's
