1973 914

hello out there;

I just picked up another 914, but this one is going back on the road.
only 83k.

But this 914 has horizontal door guards. One on the door, one in front, and one behind the door. I've never seen this on a 914 before, does anyone know if this is a factory imported item.... or just a real bad body repair job?

I believe those were dealer add-ons.

Do you know anything about the headlight motor covers. most of the ones I have seen are round and made out of rubber, this car they are plastic, with 90 degree corners on em. Looks like it all came from the factory.
