OOOOHHHH POSI TOO! It is FWD if I am keeping my Porches straight, and it doesn't look like you can do the easy swap you can with a vw tranny, but it has to be possible... Looks like it has gone way up from the original $100 though.
The engine of a 968 is in the front and the gearbox is in the back. It looks like they use a modified 911 gearbox so I guess it is possible to use it in a bug. "Just" flip the diff. Some info on 968: http://www.968.net/adsbrochures/images/ ... ies_10.jpg
