nicanor- are you going to beaver springs this weekend? also what kind of buggy do you have? i would love to see it(i am in Damascus), i have always wanted one but i have never even riden in one. glass buggys are just plain killer

Where's Beaver Springs located? I only know shows that are on VWShows.com I do have a 'glass buggy but I took it apart years ago and got lazy to put it together. But maybe will work on it next summer (full custom buggy). Right now I have my hands full restoring an old show car (chopped Oval) and a Sebring kit car. But I recently just made my newest purchase (1940 Kubelwagen, not 100% mine yet but should be here in a month) that will set me back financially into my other projects. So in other words I have no running VWs at this time

If I do get my Kubel I'll take it up to Bug Out in Manassas in August. I don't think I can finish my Oval in time this year to be show-ready. But my mechanic's car is almost done, 8" chopped Split window bug (really a '60 so no compaints from the purist) and should be at the Bug Out Manassas in August also.

j/k. actually i will be driving my bone stock 99.5 jetta.(sounds killer huh?!) my ghia is looking for a motor and one paint scheme, so she will not be making the trip. i am still trying to get off work so i can go.

Crack monkey, I have a bright red curve glass 73. I will be in pro. I think I'm the only Super Beetle in pro. I'm a little skinny guy. Maybe I'll see ya there. What's that copter run in the 1/8th? Tee hee.
