Diff ratio
Just had a look at the gear ratio calculator on Suby gears. If l run 33's with 3.9 final drive l would get 3000 grand @ 100k. This would be using a suby 2.5 and 5 speed suby box in a bug. Is this a good outcome?

3000 grand @ 100k????
Any who 33's with a 3.9 is not going to work! You are going to need the 4.44 or the 4.87....and ra close gear set with an .82 5th...

Re: Diff ratio
I really think burls is meaning 100 kilometer and hour which is approx 62 miles per hour.
More information is needed.
What kind of vehicle is it ?
How much does it weigh ?
I have a buggy that used both on and off road using 33x10.50R15 tires. I have a Subaru 2.5L N/A and am using a Vanagon 094 5speed transaxle. The ring and pinion ratio is 4.56 and 5th is .85 I can cruise at approx 70mph at around 3100 rpm
I would look at what is available r&p ratios that are a little above a 4 to 1 ratio if you are planning of doing any off roading.

Re: Diff ratio
I had a 2.5 in a buggy with a taller 4th in an 091. It ran about those revs. Stock they run those revs...

Re: Diff ratio
back on this. I really want to use the suby box with either a 2.2 or 2.5, so I'll do some more research but looks like l can get 4.86:1 from subygears which should work well
