Can anyone identify these Subaru harness parts?

I'm trying to lay out my my EJ22 (90-91 I think) harness and label everything plus omit things that are not needed. For conversion into a 74 beetle. There are a few wires I am not sure what they are or what I am supposed to do with

1 large plastic gray block - all wires have been cut except the red white black etc in bottom corner. (I think this ties into the plugs that go to engine cam/crank sensors) Can I omit the block and splice the uncut wires together?

2 two large white wires that go into a black plug. What needs to be done to this end, white wires look to go to alternator

3 two small black wires that end on a squared off ring connector

Looks to me you're right. The two white wires are the positive off the alt. Same as mine and the squared ring connector looks to be grounds.
