For inspiration, completely tossing the proverbial "box" into a wood chipper...

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Take a KG, peel off skin, modify skin for a month or two, throw away all other original parts. Build small hot rod with giant engine from scratch, hide under KG skin, paint. Apparently, this plan came together. Beautiful result!

Now that looks pretty nice indeed. I'll bet they will have a few issues to work out to make it handle.

Now if I could wave the magic wand and make my rust heap of a Ghia more like this one...

Hey Greg, if ya squint one eye kind of funny, don't that guy look a bit like Chris Hardin?

It actually handles really well. It is a full tube chassis car. The glass actually came out of one of my parts car. John Wargo of The Custom Shop builds some of the most wild cars out there and they all have good horsepower and go down the road quick. This Ghia wont be winning any road race trophies but it does perform well.
