Hey guys,
I am going to put a subaru 2.5 ej25 in my vw. I have heard good mounts are necessary to protect the tranny. What mounts do u guys recommend for tranny longevity?
Subaru mounts?

I moved my trans and engine forward to fit the DOHC engine. That requires ditching the front mount and using a weld in mid mount for the transmission, which I recommend anyway.
The rear mount, I custom built, but subagears makes one for this application.

scroll down the page aways. Lots of good info there on how to use the subaru transmission. If I went back and did it all over again, I might choose the subaru trans.... just for piece of mind.
