Not much progress on the Ghia to report at the moment, a busy summer, new job, and catching up on household projects has taken up a lot of time. One project was cleaning up the garage to bring the pan back and continue work on it. Perfect opportunity to do an epoxy floor coating. It took a lot of cleaning, and did one half at a time, but came out pretty decent. Nice clean work space to use for the fall and winter. Goal is to complete the suspension work in the next few months and then have a rolling chassis again so I can mock up the engine and transmission.

Well, it's been almost 2 years since I've touched this project and I'm calling it officially stalled out. I don't have the time, money, or motivation to finish it anymore. I'm going to post it in the for sale section as a part out or partially complete project for someone willing to take it on. It needs a good home and has a lot of good pieces waiting to put together.

That stinks...your car was going to be my Ghia's closest relative :( If I wasn't breaking in a new clutch for the next 500mi I'd make a motivational video for you!

Thanks, it's tough to admit defeat on this but the reality is that I will never finish it in any reasonable amount of time.

Here's the link to the for sale post if anyone is interested.

Ironically, I will probably have to make some more progress to actually sell it, like finish the IRS installation so I have a rolling chassis again. Lol.

Man, sorry to hear about this project stalling. ;(

You had a fan over here!

And dlamyle, my car sat for a year and half in a queue to have continued work but I've since moved it to another builder in Loudoun, so you may have a new close relative.
