!!!! Groupbuy for the Subarugears Ring/Pinion kit is ON !!!!

I have also done an 'assembly video' from the Hybrid turbo transmission we put together last week for a customer.

This covers measuring the pinion depth and measuring shims to suit, installing the gearset, installing the diff, adjusting and measuring the pinion for backlash, then finally closing it all up and checking the gearshift.

Am adding the finishing touches to it and will publish it on the Subarugears youtube channel soon. This should complete the series of DIY videos so that anyone can modify and assemble their reversed Subaru 2WD transaxle.

There's something about seeing it all done on video that just makes it all 'click' for some people.

What is the difference between the Hybird turbo trans and the cheaper trans you carry??

Our Hybrid turbo trans is the strongest combination of factory turbo Subaru gears and parts, put together to give the best shift and the highest horsepower rating. They have improved hubs, sliders and syncros and are called Hybrids because they are a combination of parts from different models of Subaru turbo transmissions.

Our turbo transmissions (WRX or STi ones) are as per how they come from Subaru for those transmissions.

Our non-turbo transmissions are as per how they come from Subaru for those transmissions.

Hey all, I received the ring and pinions back from the specialist lapper. Very pleased with the finish on them.

I have everything laid out to despatch - a bit more bubble wrapping to do and fit it all into the box to the USA.

Hey guys, I probably should have done this sooner ...but can everybody private message me your "real" name, address, and email.

It looks like I will be getting the box tomorrow. I have to pay the customs fees today so that it will be released from Customs. Then I will try to get everything re-boxed into individual boxes, weigh them, and get everyone a shipping total (with the customs fees) so that I can get everything shipped out. I hope I have enough boxes!!
