Funny...That's exacty what I received a couple days back !!!

Just wanted to note the beautiful quality of the gears and the rest of the parts.

Also a Super Fine lapping job on the gearset !!!

5+ Star work Ambryn and without Todd and Subarugears my ambition to do a conversion would'nt get off the back burner any time soon.

Mine is done and been flogging it for several months and its taking the abuse just fine with 20# boost, 930 flanges to 930 cv/axles.

I've assembled mine, but have a ways to go with the car before it's drive able. My build thread is in my signature. Hoping for a rolling chassis by the end of summer.

I was actually in the first Group buy, but ditto what KR250 said...I've had a few distractions along the way, but I plan to get my butt in gear over the Summer....

Um...well... Ya, what KR250 said.

Distractions etc... Looked at my thread - no post in over a year Time flies.

Just getting back into it. Tail housing mods, shift linkage and mounts done. Tubing runs through tunnel done - need to document.

Hacking on BJ beam at the moment to get some wheels on it. Will probably start a separate thread on that in the dirt-pile.

Been lurking consistently though, does that count?

Nice all. Glad to see they are still moving even if slowly. I haven't done anything meaningful with my Thing in quite awhile.

Speaking of muscle cars......... I'm pretty sure a VW with a subie swap counts as a muscle car.

So is this still going on? I want to stuff a scooby tranny along with the 2.5 I have into my Baja. I haz a 16g turbo from a 4G63 that I want to crank the boost on. I want powah! But I don't wanna cough up 1600 or so for a rancho tranny that maybe handles 150hp,or however much the pro Street bus tranny holds. Plus 5th gear, and reverse is in the "right" direction......
