You know I was just thinking about it. It will probably run better if you up load your ignition "drift map"......that would be sweet.

the spoiler might be a good scoop.kuleinc wrote:I meant put the radiator in the spare tire well, but I have a kamei spoiler, so would that still work? I'm not willing to lost the spoiler, it makes the car so much more stable at speed, and with a suby engine, at speed will mean even faster than it means now...
I don't mind having to run fans all the time,I had an early third gen camaro and the grills on it were minuscule and I put a stock V6 camaro cooling fan on the engine side, and two pan cake fans on the front. The V6 fan ran all the time and was adequate in the winter, and the summer, unless I drove it hard or had the A/C on then I flipped a switch for the front pancake pushers. Mostly in the summer all three fans nearly ran constantly, and in five years I never burnt one out... Just saying, your mileage may vary of course...
no matter where you end up putting your radiator. make sure you duct air into it properly. don't run your fans constantly, it's a drain on energy and in certain circumstances, like on the freeway, they actually LIMIT the airflow rather than boosting it.

Spend a lot of time making sure you don't have any high points that might have trapped air, just a little air will keep your temps higher than they could be. You could also duct the air from a larger opening to force more air through the rad. Nice work!

Any more vids? I would love to hear how it sounds with a load on the engine. That turned out to be a great swap. Super clean!

Dont have anymore vids but it runs flawless. It's currently apart getting a close ratio box and a Nos fogger setup. Shootin for a 60 shot wich should produce about 200whp. Hoping to run 12's without sacraficing reliability.

Got the trans done and in and started plumbing the nitrous. Everything is hidden and plumbed through bulkhead fittings on the lower firewall. They will connect to the foggers via -3 flex lines. Can't wait to get this thing running. I was looking over the megajolt site and It had dual table controll so when I activate the nitrous it can switch to another ignition map allowing me to pull timing only when on the spray! Im also goin to use the programable outputs to only let the nitrous work when above 3000 rpm.

Sounds good. You can really hear it "pick up". What gears did you wind up putting in there? Tell David we need to race....
