After leaving me stranded twice with clogs in the outlet on the fuel tank, I finally decided to start the process of pulling and replacing it today. And of course, as long as it's out, I'm going to take this opportunity to reseal all these areas, Bondo in some crusty body bits on the bulkhead, Etc. This is just the daily driver, the to show cars are the only ones I've bothered getting any welding done on.
Anyway, I noticed one of the two intake plugs on my master cylinder, which is only about a thousand miles old, is wet. I plan to replace the plug, the plastic intake itself, and I may as well replace that braided line. Two questions:
1. I assume the installation procedure is plastic intake goes into the rubber grommet, then the two pieces as one assembly get pushed into the cylinder. Any tips on this?
2. do I have to completely bleed this, or can I just refill from the reservoir and pump the air out?
