I was doing a little work on my 1302 when I noticed that the filler flap seems a bit small for the hole it fits into. I can see the fuel filler cap through the gap. Also, I had to do some work on the pull wire/pin to make it 2mm shorter so I could open the flap.
If you are wondering, I havent driven this car yet and am rebuilding it VERY slowly.
I then looked at a 1303 and see that this flap is also small for the hole it fits into, but this flap is clearly from a different vehicle.
Anyway, my question
is the filler flap from a 1302/3 a different size to one from a "normal" sedan?
1302 fuel filler flap size?

Seems that filler flap is indeed different.
From a British forum: "1302 fuel filler flap is unique to the model and has a different shape"
