30hp crankshaft shims

Anyone got any 1200cc 30/36 hp crankshaft shims lying about . I'm after 24 mm shims. Usual suppliers are out of stock and are looking at Christmas before delivery.

If you can't find any, don't be afraid to use only two if that'll get the endplay right. Be sure the thickness of the gasket is included in the calculation. OEM paper ones were ~.008" IIRC, replacements in gasket sets may be thicker.

Another option to consider is shaving a tiny bit off of the thrust surface on the flywheel. Beats waiting and a machinist may charge less than the cost of shims + shipping. If you only need a thousandth or so it can even be done with ~320-grit wet-or-dry sandpaper on a sheet of glass. Keep it flooded and rotate the 'wheel frequently.
