if anyone can help please do ..... okay this is how it goes starts and runs rough pops when u excelerate but when u hold the lead from the cap then rev it all goes away WAT DA ........... if it helps its a new cap and new petronix 009 MAN ITS DRIVING ME NUTS

More often than not this indicates fouled sparkplugs - by creating an air gap that the spark has to jump, it hits the plug at maximum intensity, enabling it to make it across the plug gap rather than bleed off through the conductive deposits on the insulator.
Even if the plugs are fine, if your spark quality is poor this trick will often intensify it enough to make the engine run better. Same for bad plug wires.
Check that the coil polarity is correct (positive from the harness, negative from the points/condenser).

yeah I'd totally check your plugs and maybe replace them and your wires.
