Other than lowering compression, any ideas for preventing detonation in a high compression engine?
My motor: 90.5x78 @ 12:1, with all the right goodies & hopefully bulletproof !
Even with high octane fuel, & extensive distributor mods, it still detonates when I "get on it". I am thinking that spark plug heat range and/or type may be the culprit.
Any suggestions for plugs?
