Billet Specialties

Post by sixty5slug »

I'm shopping for some chevy pattern drag wheels. Need to know what I can run in the rear of a stock fendered '65 short spline/short axle swing. Is it 15x7 with 4" offset? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Tire size?

The 2 cars I've worked on that have Billet Specialty wheels are running 9.5" wide DOT slicks...one is on a 3" narrowed torsion under stock fenders, the other on a stock torsion under 3" wide fenders; basically the width between the spring-plate and fender is 3" too narrow for that tire, regardless of the offset of the wheel.
