So
It os looking like the full tri y is not going to happen.
So it is a 4 into 2 paired correct.
I am looking at anti reversion chambers and the theory bihind them. Wondering if this will help a 2 into 1 header.

Sample motorcycle header.

And my scooter with a 2387.

Does anyone here have any experience with 2 cylinder headers and/or anti reversion chambers?

Weird, I spent the morning thinking about anti-reversion cones into a more mundane exhaust to make the heat riser (center mount carburetor) work better. And until you posted that, I have never seen one.

I never knew how Jim Fueling actually made them, I was thinking washer welded into a fish scale like step.

Jims were a tapered cone welded right in at the exhaust flange.

In the harley world it is common for folks to get pipes that are "cool looking" instead of tuneable. Lots of them are too large diameter and too short.
So those cones are used all the time to bring them closer to tune.

The oddball header is nearly all made and tacked up.
I had to lathe out a lot if the bits and pieces.

So it is a split header. 4 into 2.
1 and 3 paired .
2 and 4 paired.
1-5/8= od tube at the head.
Into 2-1/4" od anti reversion chamber
Then 1-3/4" od primaries 30" long
Then steep tri y style collector.
Then a short 2" od secondary
Then a 2-1/2" anti reversion chamber elbow.
Then a cone back to 2"

Crazy forum would not let me IMG link any size of pic from photobucket.
I dont know what is going on.
So I URL linked the whole album.
I wish the site was easier to IMG pic too.

Photobucket is loaded up with more ads and pop ups.
Almost unusable now.
Recently updated my Android phone to nougat and I have compatibility issues with photobucket mobile app. I have to use the desktop site now.

Has STF changes pic size or limitations?
Photobucket IMG links work everywhere else but here.

BTW, you can upload pics to STF like this at the bottomof the "full editor and preview" page.
