instead of posting a new subject every time I have a question about a certain part, I figure this would be a better way to go about things.
nothing I post is set in stone, most of it is based on an engine Mark Harney built for a DC I had to sell years ago due to the economy collapse, and my income collapse lol.
Anyway, here goes...
looking for big torque, peak HP isn't important, useable street power is what I want, I can do my own wrenching and maintenance, looking for an engine in between daily driver and weekend warrior.
Case: yes I want a TF-1, they're expensive, and the new batch is a couple of months out, I'm in no hurry, that being said, Mag or CB aluminum raised deck?
Heads: AC.Net (or DRD) 049 based 40x35's?
Cam...advice needed, last go round was a Web 163 with 1.25 rockers.
Berg rocker shafts worth the money?
"True 911" adjusters worth it, or OEM VW?
Planning on AA 92 thick walls
That's it for now. any advice is greatly appreciated

Doesn't sound like you need to much more advice to me! The only thing I can see is the TF1 case is overkill for a bus motor, but then again, I had to google TF1 to see exactly what this was!
Looks a fine race case for a 8000 rpm stroker, I still say way OTT for a bus torquer, but it won't half be reliable at only 6000 bus rpm's! As to the Porsche swivel feet, yes, they are the best and I've never broken one racing, often need shortening tho to clear the valve covers. I still favour the Engle 110 for a bus motor over 2 ltr with 40x35.5 valves, I like that size exhaust valve seat to keep some metal where it's needed between the seats, it's still big enough to support 170 hp tho, and the Wassers do ok with those valve sizes, helps maintain low end torque too, so a good choice, do keep some build info coming as to how it's progressing along, best regards, BBB
