Thank you for pulling the pics, it's a courtesy to a fellow member of the STF.

Here's a great article by Larry Widmer that has drawings and describes in detail how the Squishies work.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Been awhile since I updated this thing so I thought I'd add this since this is the crank I'm using for the build. It's got its on thread but I think it belongs here too.

I'm currently working on knife edging the crank's counterweights and also will be removing metal from the rod throws and reshaping them for better crank aerodynamics/windage. You can see the mammoth, square-shaped rod throw arms in these pics.
