I still need to finish bleeding the brakes, the pedal travels about halfway then gets rock hard and I have to really stand on it to stop. I wish there was more time in a day :(

Have you replaced all the rubber lines yet?
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

NOS MC, new lines, new cylinders, and new semi-metallic shoes. It should be working awesome, but I have never had a type 2 before so I don't know what normal is.

Took the day off from work and did a marathon event on the bus. It's all registered and legal, and has a new clutch. I'm loading it up in the morning then driving to Austin, tomorrow night will be my first time camping it and Sunday is the VW Harvest show (it's debut and my favorite show in Texas).

This thing is sick. I love me some early bay's. Wish I still had my 68 deluxe sometimes...then I realize I have a split.

Looking good Nick. Keep it up.

That is the only way to go (conversion). I have 7 grand in parts in my 78x103 T4 and it is a ways away from being assembled.

Steve- just a k20a, I barely have enough room to fit it under the rear shelf. I'm trying to do this conversion for around 2-2.5K (minus the management), we will see if that is realistic.

PD- nope, either duals in the corners of the engine compartment, or a big rad in the belly and one small one in the engine compartment.

I'm so jealous. Maybe watching your progress will motivate me to do a conversion.

Zander I don't want to be the one to completely turn you to the darkside, but a honduh conversion is the best bang for the buck and the k20 is an absolutly amazing piece of machinery.

Are you going to use AEM again, or adapt MS?
