Hi,
I've just installed a new engine in my '71 bus, and have installed a stage 2 kennedy clutch. I can't remember if I should be running with the pad on the fingers of the clutch or not. I had the same clutch set-up but with a different friction plate on my 2.5L monster motor, with the pad installed, and the clutch always seemed to be hard work. I have a 091 box with 020 bell housing. Question is, what SHOULD I be running - pad or no pad?!

you mean the little ring in the center of the pressure plate? no ring.
give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

Phew! Thanks for that. Didn't fancy pulling the engine again...
