I've seen this on the manufacturer's website years ago. Forgot the address or name but I think it's located in the Netherlands or some country like that. I think the kit's name is Forest something (I think).

It's a pretty solid and well thought of replica but with a price tag of $10k - $15k just for the body will turn most people away. It would be very cool to have a 'glass Ghia though (only if I was rich).

saw a tv show from berlin a couple of days ago featuring nice ghia replicas.

anyone know of a good stateside link for these and porsche kits?

There was a 'glass Ghia featured in an issue of VW Trends about 2-3 years ago. The article and car came from Sweden or Norway. It was done as a kind of pro-street project as I recall. It was very kick-ass, but I don't think there was any mention of the body manufacturer.
