Steering wheel spline size
Looking for a aftermarket steering wheel for my 69 Ghia, I've removed the wheel and measured the diameter accross the splines, it looked like about 21mm but hard to tell exactly without some accurate calipers. Just in case I've measured it wrong, what were the different sizes used on Ghias?

Hi Carl,
Grant, a big name in aftermarket steering wheels and adapters, lists it's main 3-bolt VW adapter as fitting from 1960 to 1973 Ghias, which means Type 1 steering shafts. We have a 1965 and a 1970 Ghia and a splined Grant adapter we have fits both.
