73 Ghia on the road.

It took several years and many hours, but we can drive it on the road. The first pictures are from the beginning of the project. All of the work was performed by Irene and myself, except for re chroming the bumpers and hub caps and recovering the seats. Irene fabricated the door panels, using her small singer sewing machine. She even made the pockets. We purchased some olive ash burl veneer and attached it to the dash and the console we fabricated. The convertible top was a little challenging, but we managed to fit it to the frame. The windshield went in fairly easily. We both worked on the body. I applied the paint. She built the engine.
