Thanks! I have no better quality pictures yet. I took this with my cameraphone quickly to show you how it looks like.

I have the roll gage installed also. I´ll show it to you also later.

Very cool!

I noticed you used MegaSquirt on your 1700?

Maybe you just need a little bigger stabilizer/ anti-roll bars?

Sorry for the OT

Thank Ubercrap.

i already read a posts since 2 years. It's my first post because my English is not good.
just one probleme for use a suspension ideas, it's very difficult to buy in USA shop. A shipping cost is very expensive to send in France.
example: 120$ for two Kyb with strut for front suspension.

If you are talking about the KYB struts that Ray Greenwood suggested, they are expensive. For my strut setup based on his advice, I am going to use some Gabriel brand Audi 4000/VW Quantum premium gas charged strut inserts, which I got two sets of for $40 off of ebay. I'm hoping they'll work okay until a bigger budget allows for the KYB's. You may be able to get something like that as those cars should have been plentiful in Europe (Quantum=Passat, of course). I believe Ray also wrote something about attaching two sway bars together to make a stiffer setup, I need to go back and re-read that post. I wouldn't worry about your English as long as you aren't laboring too long to your posts, I understand what you are saying just fine.

Ok, thank for this anwser.

Actually, my configuration is:
-front: Bmw spring, kyb with strut, stock stabilazator
-rear: stock spring, old shock without references.

for drive to go to my job, it's good.
for raceway, it's not good.

i think tested
-front: modify fixing to chassis (like 1302) and use another stabilizator (modern)
-rear: use opel shock ( like func412), maybe insert a little spring with shock.

What did the rolling road dyno give you for hp numbers?

Only 76HP @4900RPM

engine stock, 1679cc, no injection, just 2X solex 36/40PDSIT, 120 000kms, exhaust like T-bird home made, 050 with MPA.

That is very good!
Original is 80 hp; gearbox takes away 18%, so that leaves 68 rearwheel hp original.
I think if you mount an original distibutor, then you will have a few more hp. 050 advances a bit too much for the type 4...
