rebuilt engines

can anyone reccomend me a place that sells good rebuilt engines?

i have a 1600 dp ill sell you.its 3 years old with less than 500 miles on it.turnkey.im taking it out when i sell it,so it can be seen running.im swapping to a 4.3 v6 so i need to sell the 1600 to fund the project. paid 750 for longblock,will sell turnkey fo 600 e mail is [email protected]

Be leery of the places that sell you exchange engines , particularly GEX of Baldwin Park Ca. - a rip off joint if one ever existed . the best bet is to find a local shop that'll tear your old engine down and rebuild it , after asking what you want/need . I have met several folks who took engine to local trade school (college , highschool etc.) and got it done for parts only but takes a lot longer .

Try German Motorcars in stafford, VA (540)752-5303, the owner is wayne dittman and he has built a few motors for me and does a nice job. for a 1600cc DP with new heads it is $700 for the engine
