Hello fellow VW family! My buddy and I bought a couple of Sandrails last year. Nothing special on mine but when we peeled some paint back on my buddy's we found a serial number and model number. It has an original tag on the passenger side. The tag says Chenoweth with a capital C. We have looked all over for any information.
Does anybody recognize this model number?
The original paint is yellow and has remained unchanged for the most part. Original gauges, lights, seats etc.
Any information would be awesome! Thanks for your time

Congrats on the new purchase and welcome to the Forum!
I believe that you will get much better results if you post in the off road forum.
Good Luck

I did a search for the model number also and got nothing. Do you have photos you can post as I seem to remember they had several styles of designs over the years.

Not a lot of new information out there but I also think I didn't find all of it either.
