Are Primewell tires Dependable?

Post by Jim Ed »

They are made in China by a company called Giti whose main office is in Singapore.
I do not drive much. At the most I might drive 25 miles but, more likley just 3 miles to the grocery store two or three times a month.

Primewell just issued a recall on almost 400,000 tires for sidewall cracking.. I would stay away.

I have run Firestone 145s on the front of my bug for the past 5 years. They have been great so far.

You say 145s. What is the aspect ratio and size of the rim? Does that affect the accuracy of your speedometer?
