Will this also be MS controlled?

Good stuff Jonas, looking forward to more of your teams effort this year 8)

Matt
Actually they are for the next engine ;)

To get the shortest exhaust the best place would be behind the rearwheels!

Ofcourse, all our builds are MS controlled!!!! :D

I'm looking forward to do any effort this year .. haven't done anything since I dynoed my car.

Jonas,

Is the dashboard going to end up as carbon?
In any case, I am looking forward to that final look. Interesting.

Now that is a TIDY exhaust 8)

In that first spypic, I see the clutch clearancing of the trans, is that the cut for a T25 228mm?

Matt
Them's the spots where it hits, so probably.
It also requires a starter "spacer" of ~13mm, and a late bus starter.

Or just use an 091.
Good to see those Tractor Supply links getting some use ;-)

Thanks Pile, I have 1 and I'd like to use it in my SSC, very light pedal eh? Is there any figures for their holding torque? what kind of power is a stock Vanagon clutch capable of handling??

Holding power is pretty decent, IIRC Jake said they were OK to ~160HP.

Kennedy (and likely Jake) sells 228 PPs good for > 300lbs/ft, intended for V8 use.
(not that a SSC T1 can actually deal with that)

This is the engine in the car for the second time, we had some problems but solved them!

We got a lot of crankcase pressure so I pressurized the no 2 cylinder with compressed air and it was ALOT of blowby... we took out the engine and took the cylinders off it, only oilrings on no2  The engine idled and run good, but smoked alot on boost  New rings and honing did the trick and jansson did the only resonable thing and made the inner wings removable :D His engine got serious amount of ventilation :D

The engine where out on Wednesday and back in on thursday, runnig good :D On friday we packed the car and headed to Bugrun, mantorp. A short little trip, 370km one way  , After two miles the engine just died with out no reason... the last picture is the car standing by the side of the road dead  The starter was totaly dead (even though the battery was good! We got som help to towstart it and it run good all the way home but we didn't have the guts to run to mantorp in it

The car was running really good with 0.6bar boost on thursday night, very drivable and didn't leak one drop of oil :)

It doesn't!

It just sits on top of the oil cooler.
