To start with, the 1/8 time was with 10 years old tires;) the wheels stopped spinning first in third gear I bought new TOYO tires after that but i didn´t get the chanse to test them on the strip...
I´ll see if i have some more pics...
And to Sandeep! go for it,we want to see your type 4 turbo soon!

Jonas,
What did you do to the flywheel/crank connection that survived your 'side-stepping' ? If it let a 091 bus trans let go before your flywheel bolts snap at 345 Nm, they must be quite "sufficient"
Very curieus what you plan to do for upgrades. Keep us informed!
Thanks,
Walter

The engine support bar is made from 20x20x2mm square tubing.... bolts to the original mounts on the engine, with urethane bushings at the outer sides. I was at the garage today to take some pics but the camera battery died The flywheel is mounted with the original bolts! just torqued a little bit more
The planned upgrades for the engine is new cyliderheads,I dropped one seat from the ones i have now and had to make an oversize seat that i dont like... I was thinking about 42x40 heads what do you guys think about that? And i really have to remove the headgaskets,i cant remember how many times i had to change them this summer.... A new cam is also on the list, any suggestions? i want it to rev more!! right now it´s just alot of low rpm gearboxkilling torque! And i really have to get rid of the wheelhops
Of course i´ll keep you informed about my work,i just have to do something in the garage, not just sit there and drink coffe
right now im taking apart the heads..removing rusty exhaust bolts and the valveseats and guides...
Hope someone understands my english

Well, your english is fine
I would really upgrade to the B.A.S. 12.9 flywheel bolts and have him machine the flywheel holes accordingly, before 'accidents' happen...
How much lift does your current cam have? Is it a specific model/make you have now? 270 duration doesn't mean that much, as I don't know at what valve lift your duration has been measured...
What size throttle body have you used now?
Tnx,
Walter
