your ideas are fine. Your engine would be awesome in a Bug. That would be one fast beetle. AS far as a bus application, I don't know that is a whole different world. You might want to try a super charger for more low end.

Just wanted to report back that I have been beating the S... out of the above combo since 2004 and love it! Works great, no problems, torque everywhere. :) Only about 600 miles, but it has been pure hell miles, so 20K? lol

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

what kind of head temps are you running?

i'm finishing my bug with 80x96 with this cam on 108LC...but have a 9.5:1 static compression...i'm hoping it will be ok.
