Fellas,
trying to figure out what size crank I have. Does anyone know of the main and rod bearing journal size of a 1.7/1.8 crankshaft? Also the case size for the bearings?
I've misplaced my type 2 repair manual so i can't search there.

The quick check is 50mm/55mm on the crankshaft rod, smaller is the 71mm stroke. Mains don't change and follow the wassers at 60mm.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
