DTM keep or sell?

Post by dave t »

I have the chance to buy a T-4 that has had a problem and stopped running? It turns over by hand but is binding and not smooth. The owner does not know the engine size but it comes complete with the DTM kit, dual 2-barrel carbs not sure if IDF or DELL, intakes, and the TRI-MIL T-4 exhaust. 900.00... So Buy it fix the problem in the engine and keep the DTM set up or put on my Joe Cali style set up?. I looked on the Massive T-4 site and see their basic kit is 1000.00 ??? Thanks Dave T

Dave you are in the same boat as me I have a DTM and my Cali Style is ratty looking. BUT for my application in my bug it is strong as hell not fiberglass.

I have a DTM but some i have seen are crackiing when used off road. I see you have a dune buggy.

BUT nothing cools like a DTM if you are in hot climate, the Cali Style good to up to and over 150 hp.. It is up to you.

DTM you can get around $500 the carbs a few hundred

I got my DTM for free.
