kadron on a T4 upright conversion
does anyone have any experience with Kadrons being used on a T4 upright conversion in a beetle?

Through the years I have heard of and actually seen a few. The bottom line is the size engine you have and will the Kadrons do what you expect the engine to do.
THe carbs have to match the engine, just because you have them it does not mean they are going to give you better performance then a 1.6 Type I engine.
Some guys run 1.7 stock Type IV with them and they are fine. It is all in the combination of parts.

Actually, I've had 44 IDF's on it for two years and tire of their finicky natural. I'm looking for a replacement that is easy to start, more tolerant of the wee weee little dirt particules that always find their way into the idle jets. They are hard to fine tune because there isn't much room. Just looking for something easy that starts and goes. And BTW, its a 2056 slightly warmed with cam and ported heads.
