New billet type 4 head
I am happy to report that Thorsten Pieper is making a small batch of billet type 4 heads with type 1 exhaust ports.
Hopefully this will increase interest in the factory 'big block' some more
For now I can only publish some pics he send me. Before years end (2013), they should be done (and I'am getting a set)

You'll have to open the link as I am too lazy to reduce size and upload the pics again just for stf.

Re: New billet type 4 head
I am wondering if these heads are for only racing, if not would love to see a 105mm dual plug bore head made up.

Re: New billet type 4 head
I'm interested in a set, when they become available. I just started back on my project, and hope to start building the engine in Jan/Feb of next year. Will create a build thread here for the engine, and another on germanlook.net for the car.
Thanks!

Re: New billet type 4 head
For people with q's about price and availability, I think its best they email the seller directly.
My experience is that when prices are mentioned, especially on a US forum (sorry), people will comment on what they think about that. I feel that particular discussion is best held with the seller.

Re: New billet type 4 head
Really, so you would rather burden the seller with a bunch of worthless emails, that he would have to spend his time to answer about head prices from people who aren't going to buy any anyways ? When you could of saved him the trouble.Wally wrote:For people with q's about price and availability, I think its best they email the seller directly.

I am not going to waste my time or Thorsten's sending an email for a price on heads I am not going to buy. But the TP bare type 1 heads are around 1.800 Euros that have been out for a while...
