fitting heater boxes on type 4 in a bug?

iwas curious about how difficult it would be to have heat(and eat it too)on a type4 but in a bug.

i believe the 1800 heater box has rear exits to the muffler. this seems to be the best choice for a custom exhaust with heat. kind of like using the T1 heater box with a after market header. i am going to use a dual output tube fan from a T4 heater to draw air from inside the car under the rear window. the way the fan is made the only place it will fit is high up in the left hand corner of the engine compartment. and a hole will have to be cut in the firewall. air tubes will have to be run to the heater boxes which have inlets at the rear of the engine just like the T1. I was originally going to convert a T1 heat system so i am not sure if every thiing will clear in a T4 swap.
