I got the message and the pics, all of them! Thank you! I'm really going to be able to use a lot of them for the page. I've been busy at work and have been meaning to send you a reply.

Just some interresting info
I sold a motor to a friend who`s 2L packed up
We replaced the Flywheel, Silencer, tinware of his bay window
and fitted the 2L jetted carbs on the 1800 motor and I was stunned how this motor was pulling
I helped him to fit the motor and when the float bowls were full of fuel it purred like a kitten as these motors all were bench run before they were sent out from the factory
Timing was spot on new coil and plugs was working great

did you just put in oil and press start or what sequence did you go thru?

After I removed the Silencer and saw that it was bech run before I just filled the oil and turned the Key and there it fired up
As I said it almost feel that it was running better than the 2L I had here at home but then again the 2L has got some miles on but still
The 127 Ran much better than anticipated

so how's the 127 world doing these days?
i never did get any pics of the alleged 127 powered compressor from that lad on volkszone.
mine test ran fine last year but i've never put it in a vehicle yet.

some pics of the one i've just bought on volkszone http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread ... 02&page=11 take a look. Mine has the military 24v electrics and special dizzy etc. Had to strip it to collect it in the golf, but you can see the oil cooler lines etc.

It's still really nice.. no oil leaks...etc
