Jetting / Weber 44 IDF / 2.4 l Engine

I am searching for the right initial setup / jetting etc. for my moderate 2.4 l type 4 with Weber 44 IDF carbs (European 300 deg. cam). Any suggestions how to start the tuning process in order to make it to the dyno shop safely?
